During a dominant showing, England clinched another win against Albania, featuring multiple players turning in notable displays on the pitch.

First-choice Eleven

Dean Henderson Was rarely tested to make during the opening 45 but then forced to intervene from an opponent's bent shot. His sliding tackle on an Albanian attacker demonstrated his reading of the game. 6/10

Jarell Quansah Tested against Albania’s biggest threat in their forward. Started more centrally initially then shifted wider once a teammate entered the fray. 7/10

John Stones Pushed into midfield with the ball at his feet, something he's known for before. On occasion seemed hesitant in possession with the approach abandoned after the break. 6/10

Dan Burn A nuisance at set pieces, as always, perhaps is an alternative for Stones in defense instead of alongside him. A loose distribution in the second half came close to a goal for the visitors. Six

The young full-back A further assured performance by the rising star following his debut versus another side. Saka did not capitalize on full advantage of a clever touch over the Albania defence. The left-back spot is firmly his already. 7/10

Adam Wharton A debut start for his country. Somewhat loose when playing out though his dangerous corners posed a danger. A handy pace-controller available to the coach to have versus sides that sit back. Cautioned after a reckless tackle. 6

Declan Rice Set-pieces from corners and free kicks created chances. Enjoyed freedom to move in left midfield only to be offside upon receiving with a chance to score. Given a well-earned break after an hour. 6

Jude Bellingham Functioned in a high spot down the right and also put in dirty work. Displayed flashes of quality and mishit an effort wide. Replaced towards the end for Rogers, his competition, after receiving a caution. 7/10

The winger Had England’s best chance of the first half, his shot well saved by Thomas Strakosha. With Quansah staying deep, he was forced to provide width on the right yet his deliveries from wide areas were hit and miss. Taken off for the final quarter-hour. 6

The captain The decisive figure scoring two more strikes in an England shirt. The opener a trademark close-range tap-in and the second an excellent finish with his head following a clever run off his defender. Now 32, he continues to improve and England stand a real opportunity in future competitions when he's in the team. 8/10

The attacker Found it tough to get into the game out wide. Was presented with a decent opportunity following a pass from a teammate but the keeper made the save. His replacement had a greater an impact in his place. 5
