Iran Claims Strike on US Base in Bahrain, Amid Regional Retaliatory Strikes.
Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Manama, as the country executed strikes throughout the Middle East in response for a significant and continuing attack targeting the nation by the US and Israel.
Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an area close to the main base of the American Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The scope of any impact is unclear and the United States has not commented.

In the Qatari capital, the Qatari Ministry of Defence announced it had successfully engaged several missiles seemingly aimed at the al-Udeid air base, the biggest US military installation in the Middle East.
